L’Italy peeps in Qatar. Although forced to look again i World Cup from the sofa, our national team presents itself with an exhibition on Paolo Rossi, the unforgettable Pablito who disappeared two years ago. Thanks to the collaboration between the exhibition ‘Paolo Rossi a golden boy’ and the Fifa Museum in Zurich, 40 years after the Mundial victory, the most important trophies of the top scorer of Spain ’82 arrive in Asia with six goals, including three at Brazil of Zico, Falcao and Socrates, the only one to do it.

Memorabilia stop at Doha from 1 to 18 December, for the final phase of the World Cup. There will also be Paolo Rossi’s wife, the journalist Federica Cappellettiand the director of the exhibition, Marco Schembri. Among the items brought to Qatar are the Ballon d’Or France Football ’82the Golden shoe as top scorer in Spain, the Fifa-Adidas Ballon d’Or for the best player of the ’82 World Cup, le shoes used just against Brazil and of course the jersey number 20the one worn in the final of that Mundial against Germany, which finished with the 3-1 victory for the men of Bearzot.
There won’t be a single place to admire these objects up close: they will be exhibited in strategic points of the city of Doha, so that every fan can pay homage to Pablito and the Azzurri, absent in Qatar but somehow still present thanks to the legend.
