Christian Pulisic’s first goal for Milan in his Serie A debut sparked much reaction, with many fans accusing Chelsea of letting USMNT leave in the summer.
Pulisic started his Milan career in fine form, scoring on his Serie A debut in a 2-0 win against Bologna at the Stadio dell’Ara on Monday.
The USMNT international joined the Rossoneri in a €20m deal from Chelsea in July and is already playing a key role at the Stadio Mezza.
Chelsea, on the other hand, have struggled under new manager Mauricio Pochettino, picking up just one point from their opening two Premier League games.
Thousands of fans commented on Pulisic’s performance and goal against Milan, accusing Chelsea of letting him go for a relatively low fee.
Many point out how the Premier League team signed Mykhaylo Mudrik in January for €100m. The 22-year-old was believed to be an improvement on Pulisic but has yet to make an impression at Stamford Bridge, having yet to score his first goal in 19 games for the club.
