Thor: Love and Thunder, how did Natalie Portman get taller? The secret revealed

Natalie Portman is about to return to the Mavel universe in Thor: Love and Thunder as Jane Foster and apparently someone has made her grow a few inches.

Natalie Portman will be the protagonist of Thor: Love and Thunder, highly anticipated new Marvel cinecomic directed by Taika Waititi, with Chris Hemsworth. The actress returns in the role of Jane Foster after years, but also in that of Mighty Thor: to do so she is due grow a few centimeters.

This week Natalie Portman reigns supreme on Variety’s cover. For the occasion, the actress has provided new sneak peeks on Thor: Love and Thunder, revealing her impressive work on her physique to become Mighty Thor. Nataliee Portman didn’t just gain muscle mass, she even had to “grow” by a few centimeters:

“I became as tall as I have ever been. As a five-foot woman I was not suitable for a character like that, who should be at least six feet. I liked looking taller than usual.”.

But how did Natalie Portman grow tall? Director Taika Waititi had to find a method and together with his team came up with a trick. Nothing technological, as the actress revealed: “They built a path that was like a foot off the ground or something, and I walked on it”.

A very simple, but effective trick, which allowed Natalie Portman to be even more perfect in the role assigned to her in Thor: Love and Thunder. We will therefore see it higher in the cinecomic Marvel, in Italian cinemas from 6 July.
