Soon after, the 26-year-old was sent to quarantine due to contact with Niklas Suele, who was infected. Later, Kimmich himself received a positive test result.

Other unvaccinated Bavarians also include Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Eric Choupo-Moting and Michael Maisance. The club was to inform them that they would not be paid during the quarantine. Bavarian law allows employers to take such measures against unvaccinated workers.

The vaccine issue is reportedly arousing huge discussions in the Munich club. Hasan Salihamidzić was said to have had charges against one of the unvaccinated footballers when it was revealed that Julian Nagelsmann was infected with the coronavirus. You can read more about it HERE.

Now “Bild” reports that the three players have rethought the whole thing. Kimmich, Gnabry, and Maisance are considering vaccination. The talks with Bayern’s medical staff and teammates were to be decisive.
