Time Will Tell single project re-released by Dubquake Records

Originally released in 2001 on BSI Records, the LP Time Will Tell resurfaces today on Dubquake Records. The album, remastered for the occasion, is back in stores in its physical version and is appearing online on streaming platforms.

Recorded between England and Jamaica in the late 1990s, it is a strong piece of Bristol music history and its unique character has something to do with it. Born from the collaboration between Henry & Louis (Andy Scholes and Jack Lundie) and Rob Smith of Smith & Mighty (here credited as Blue & Red), the mixtape-style album brings together great voices of Jamaican reggae and a wide range of singers from the English scene (judge the tracklist below). The album fuses 90’s UK dub sounds tinged with trip hop or electronic music with the roots reggae of the foundations.

22 years after its release, specialists still praise its ambitious and innovative character.
