Legia Warszawa has already decided to take Maciej Rosołek on loan, and in the future it also has to bring Patryk Sokołowski from a free transfer. The midfielder once associated with Piast Gliwice is to fill the gap left by Andre Martins in the middle of the Polish champions’ field.
The Portuguese has played in Legia since 2018 and everything indicates that this is the end of his adventure at Łazienkowska Street.
The midfielder was brought to Warsaw in 2018 by Ricardo Sa Pinto, who was then the coach of the Polish champions. He quickly made it into the first squad and was regularly fielded in the middle of the field by successive coaches. For over three years, he played 128 games in Legia, scored two goals and scored 6 assists.
Martins found himself outside the Legia team, which may mean that an agreement has been established with Patryk Sokołowski and it is the 27-year-old midfielder who will replace the Portuguese at Łazienkowska. Sporting Lisbona’s young man had a contract with Legia until the end of the season, but the club did not intend to extend it.
