Gabriel Veiga could soon join Saudi club Al-Ahly during the summer transfer window. For the time being targeted by Paris Saint-Germain and even closer to signing in Naples, Celta’s promising Spanish midfielder is set to leave for Saudi Arabia.
Faced with rumors of hiccups and shortness of breath, Saudi Arabia retaliated. The recruitment of Saudi clubs continues to ignite the summer transfer window, following Karim Benzema’s message to deny any feud with his coach at Al-Ittihad. According to information published by journalist Fabrizio Romano on Wednesday, Gabry Veiga will soon sign with Al-Ahly.
The Celta player, one of the revelations of last season in La Liga and during Euro espouses with Spain, has already agreed a departure for the Gulf. Likewise, the Saudi D1 formation are said to have struck a deal with Celta for the 21-year-old midfielder.

Veiga in the Gulf instead of Paris and Naples
Announced ahead of PSG, where Luis Campos’ central role in Paris and Vigo could facilitate negotiations, Gabriel Veiga has long looked to take the direction of Naples.
Rudi Garcia’s priority goal was to strengthen his midfield. But after tough negotiations between Neapolitan leaders and their Galician counterparts, no deal was finally reached for Gabri Veiga. Good news for Al-Ahli determined to make a fresh move during the summer transfer window.
A real arsenal at Al-Ahli
Signing in Saudi Arabia, Gabry Veiga will develop under the tutelage of German Matthias Jaisle. Co-leaders of the championship with two wins in as many games this season, Al-Ahli have already signed a major summer recruit. That’s enough to entice Gabriel Veiga and inspire him to join the workforce on the spot.
Al-Ahly have already signed several of the biggest names in European football, before potentially meeting the arrival of one of the main promises of the summer. In Saudi Arabia, Gabby Veiga would partner Riyad Mahrez, Roberto Firmino, Frank Casey or even Alain Saint-Maximin, Roger Ibáñez, Merih Demiral and Edouard Mendy.
