The Norwegian stopwatch Thomas Rogne is to leave the team of the league leader at the end of December 2021. It is important because now Kolejorz has as many as 17 foreigners and due to the regulations of the league competition it cannot reach for new players from abroad. After Rogne’s departure, however, there is to be room for Jesus Jimenez himself.
Górnik Zabrze’s sniper was already in the crosshairs of Kolejorz in the summer, but then his current club demanded an amount of EUR 1 million for him. Lech decided not to transfer. Jimenez’s contract with Górnik expires in June 2022, so the club from Zabrze may be willing to sell its sniper for a lower price in the winter transfer window.
According to information from the meczyki.pl portal, the Lech Poznań transfer committee took place last week, where Maciej Skorża signaled the need to transfer the striker. The dream sniper of a Kolejorz coach would be a player who can also play on the wing.
The technically well-trained Jesus Jimenez, who played 16 matches this season and scored six goals in PKO Ekstraklasa, seems to be the perfect choice. The only question is whether Górnik Zabrze will decide to give Lech one of his best players.
