Treason, the trailer of the miniseries with Charlie Cox | TV

Netflix released the first trailer for Treasonthe five-episode miniseries starring Charlie Cox.

Among the interpreters of the project set in the world of spies there will also be Olga Kurylenko, Oona Chaplin, Ciaran Hinds and Tracy Ifeachor.

The miniseries will be available from December 26 exclusively on Netflix, below is the brief official synopsis:

When he runs into a Russian spy with whom he shares a troubled history, the new director of MI6 must face the past and question all aspects of his life. Thus will come to light secrets, lies and diplomatic relations.

The series was written by Matt Charman, who wrote the script for the film Bridge of Spies.
At the center of the plot will be Adam Lawrence, trained and followed by MI6, whose career seems to be decided. But when the past catches up with him by making Kara, a Russian spy with whom he shares a complicated past, appear in his path, he is forced to question everything and everyone in his life. Between Kara, Adam and his wife Maddy, a special relationship is formed. The three try to bring out each other’s secrets, dealing with complicated political and diplomatic relationships, as well as having to think about their own lives and those of the people they love most.

The lead roles were played by Cox (Daredevil: Born Again), Olga Kuryleno (Thunderbols), and Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones), respectively as Adam Lawrence and his wife, former spy Kata and his wife. The cast is completed by Ciarán Hinds (Zack Snyder’s Justice League), Tracy Ifeachor (Treadstone, Doctor Who), Avital Lvova (Trackers), Alexandra Guelff (EastEnders), Brian Law (Spider-Man: Far From Home, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning), and Adam James (Deep State, I May Destroy You).
