Tribute to Taylor Hawkins will feature Miley Cyrus, Queen, Kiss and more

Shows organized by the members of Foo Fighters are scheduled for September, in London and Los Angeles

Announced last week, concerts in honor of drummer Taylor Hawkins (1972-2022) begin to take shape. This Wednesday, Foo Fighters announced attractions confirmed in the tribute, including Miley Cyrus, who paid tribute to her friend in a show at Lollapalooza Brasil, Liam Gallagher, Josh Homme and members of legendary groups such as Queen and Kiss (see the complete list at the end of matter).

There will be two tributes, organized by the remaining members of the Foo Fighters and the Taylor Hawkins family. The first performance will take place on September 3 at Wembley Stadium in London, and the second on September 27 at the KIA Forum arena in Los Angeles.

The performances will bring together several artists who paid tribute to Taylor Hawkins after his sudden death with family members and the Foo Fighters in a celebration of his memory and legacy as an icon of world rock. According to the statement, the musicians will perform songs that Taylor was passionate about, and others that he created himself.

Comedians Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle will also make appearances at the London tribute.

About Banner Leon

Videogames entered his life in the late '80s, at the time of the first meeting with Super Mario Bros, and even today they make it a permanent part, after almost 30 years. Pros and defects: he manages to finish Super Mario Bros in less than 5 minutes but he has never finished Final Fight with a credit ... he's still trying.
