In the final match of the FIBA Olympic Qualification Tournament, held by Group C and D in Istanbul, the national men’s basketball team faced Croatia at the Sinan Erdem Sports Hall. Croatia ended the first period of the fight with a 24–14 victory, and advanced in the circuit with a score of 48–29. Finishing the third period with a 66-55 lead, the visiting team won the match by a score of 84-71.
In the national team, Alperen Senguen was ejected from the game in the last quarter with 5 fouls. With this result, the 12 Giant Men finished second in the tournament and could not qualify for FIBA Olympic qualification.
