The collection of two installments of the Uncharted series will soon debut on PlayStation 5, but fans of treasure hunters’ adventures should not expect a completely new quality of the setting. A preliminary comparison shows that despite some changes, it will be a slight refreshment.
Yesterday Sony unveiled specific material from Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which does not herald significant graphic improvements. In this video you will see some minor changes – in fact, only in one scene (2:43) you can see more elaborate lighting.
Remember that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End (2016) and Uncharted: Lost Legacy (2017) are relatively new games that still have quite an eye-catching setting. Developers have developed dedicated ports, but there are many indications that the biggest changes will be felt in the smoothness of the animation – productions will work even at 120 frames per second. The set will not receive multiplayer gameplay, but we will experience reduced loading times, refined sound and use the potential of the DualSense controller.
Files from Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection are now available on PlayStation Store. The two-item package takes 89.911 GB – however, note that the size may be increased thanks to the premiere update.
