Most petrol stations in Poland offer Diesel and gasoline over PLN 6 per liter. This is a heavy burden for drivers’ wallets, but fortunately, the fuel allowance can be collected until December 30th. However, if there are too many applicants, the deadline will be shortened as described HERE.
What do I need to know about this benefit?
The benefit is issued in the form of prepaid MasterCard cards that can be paid at any petrol station. Of course, you need a terminal that supports MasterCard cards, but in most cases this is already a standard. Funds for diesel, gasoline and LPG can amount to PLN 60 or PLN 120 depending on the fulfillment of the conditions outlined HERE.
A higher limit is provided for drivers who HERE will purchase a set of innovative Michelin winter or all-season tires with a minimum size of 18 inches. The lower threshold is provided for those willing to buy the mentioned tires for 16 or 17 inch rims. The cards will be sent via Poczta Polska within 8-10 weeks from the date of purchasing the tires.
It is worth hurrying up, because the number of such vouchers is limited. There are only 1,600 cards with a limit of PLN 120, and a maximum of 3,400 cards of PLN 60. If the cards expire before December 30, 2021, the action may end prematurely. This is all the more likely as the new technologies of Michelin tires attract an increasing number of drivers.
Buy it once and well
Especially convincing is that these will probably be the only winter or all-season tires that you will buy for your current car. Their service life is impressive, because thanks to the Ever Wintergrip technology, Michelin tires maintain their performance even when the tread is at the legal minimum, i.e. 1.6 mm. It will usually take years to bring them to this state! This innovative technology has already been used in the entry-level model, the Michelin Alpin 6, which impresses with traction on snow or wet surfaces.
The Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 is also extremely durable, with even greater precision and optimized rolling resistance. This means that such a winter tire does not result in higher fuel consumption, on the contrary. No wonder that this model is assembled for the first assembly by manufacturers of premium cars (Audi, BMW, Mercedes AMG, Porsche). The offer also includes the sister model of the Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 SUV, adapted to the loads of larger cars.
You don’t have to change tires
Remember that winter tires are useful not only on snow, but also on dry asphalt. It is considered that if the temperature is 6 degrees Celsius or less, the winter tire offers greater safety. However, there is an option with which you can skip the seasonal tire change. The answer to this demand is the Michelin Crossclimate 2 – the successor to the best all-season tire on the market. Great performance in all weather conditions, as well as durability and low fuel consumption convince more and more customers to use this tire.
If you still do not know what to choose, then each of the described Michelin tires will also be carefully checked HERE.
