VALORANT Champions: Acend have beaten Team Envy and are in the quarter-finals

The European representatives maintained the amazing streak of the teams from the Old Continent and took the first place in the group. Before them, Team Liquid could boast of this achievement, which sensationally defeated Sentinels, Fnatic – the vanquisher of Korean Vision Strikers and Gambit, masters from Berlin’s Masters.

Acend, on the other hand, has quite a nerve behind it. In the first match, they unexpectedly lost to Keyd Stars, however, after several interventions by Riot, the match was finally repeated. The reason was a bug in the game that worked in favor of Cypher, one of the players of the Brazilian formation.

In the end it turned out that the oil was fair and Acend could take on Envy in the match for the first place in group A. The match started at Ascent, where after a great first half, Acend kept the result and delivered a first blow in the series. However, the real feast for the fans took place only on the second map.

Acend crushed their rivals for the first half, finishing it with the score 9: 3. After this excerpt from the match, the commentator had no hesitation in saying that “Acend is the best team in the world on the Bind map. Everything seemed to be a foregone conclusion, but Envy showed the same determination we saw at their Masters in Reykjavik. The Americans started chasing, and Acend could feel their breath against the back of his neck. This led to a result of 11:11, where the Polish team took a key victory. Then only one round and Acend could celebrate.
