Due to apocalyptic reasons, the flight had to be diverted. It all happened on a Delta airliner that was flying from Atlanta to Barcelona, but had to be returned to its origin after a passenger developed “explosive diarrhea.”
The plane arrived at Spain’s El Prat airport eight hours late and was boarded by a different crew than the regular crew.
what happened on the plane?
An Airbus A350-900 took off from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport at 10:30 a.m., according to reports. After a 30-minute flight, the pilot reported to air traffic control that a passenger had “diarrhoea” on board, describing the situation as a “biohazard” and asked for permission to return to Atlanta.
“The plane left about two hours ago and is now returning to Atlanta with my son,” one user reported to the airline on social networks.
The plane landed in Atlanta at 11:15. Passengers were disembarked and the aircraft was disinfected.
So far, the airline has not reported the identity or health of its passengers.
What is “explosive diarrhea”?
According to experts, “explosive diarrhea” is a gastrointestinal disorder characterized by the appearance of liquid, explosive stools and the urgency and frequency of defecation. They claim that it is “a loose, watery stool and a violent bowel movement with excess gas that is passed with force and noise.”
They also point out that the main factors that can cause “explosive diarrhea” are gastrointestinal infections caused by bacteria, viruses, or parasites.
