We got to know the pairs of 1/16 of the Polish volleyball players’ Cup

We got to know the pairs of 1/6 finals of the Polish volleyball players’ Cup. In this edition of the cup competition, all teams from two leagues managed by the Polish Volleyball League and two teams from lower league classes, selected in the elimination process, take part.

There are 14 balls in the drawing container, containing the names of all PlusLiga clubs. In the second vessel there were 16 match numbers of the 1/16 final (from 16 to 31). Next, the balls from the container with the names of the teams and the other balls with the match number were drawn. In this way, each of the PlusLiga teams went to the match with numbers from 16 to 31 and was placed on the competition diagram. According to him, this year’s games will be conducted right up to the final. According to the diagram, pairs of consecutive rounds were created: 1/8 finals (matches on January 19, 2022), 1/4 finals (February 2, 2022), as well as semi-finals and the final.

Later, two more containers were drawn at random. In the first one there are 16 names of TAURON teams from the 1st League and two from the qualifying rounds. There were 18 match numbers in the second. As a result of the entire draw, 16 match pairs were created. The hosts of the 1/16 final matches are teams from the lower divisions or higher classified in the final table of the 2020/2021 season.
