The soap opera Neymar is gaining new chapters every day. Since the end of last season, the Brazilian’s name has been in the headlines of European newspapers. Some newspapers say that shirt 10 will not be at PSG next season.

The last chapter of the soap opera took place this Tuesday, 19, when the French newspaper Le Parisien disclosed that the PSG proposed an exchange between Neymar and Bernardo Silva, from Manchester City. However, the English club would have rejected that possibility.

In a press conference, the technician Pep Guardiola denied that this offer had reached the hands of City’s board. And publicly ruled out the possibility of signing Neymar.

“The information is not correct. Neymar is an amazing player, and the information I have is that he is an incredibly nice guy. But it is not correct. Every (European) summer Manchester City will buy 150 players,” Guardiola said.

Uncertain future at PSG

Despite having a contract until 2027 with PSG, Neymar’s future is uncertain at the club. Internally, the Brazilian suffers from criticism of his behavior, and the French press and fans also question the Brazilian’s below-average performance.
