(CNN Spanish) — On January 17 this year, Samsung will showcase its latest high-end smartphone, the Galaxy S24, at the Unpacked event in San Jose, California.
The company said the new Galaxy promises huge innovations in artificial intelligence and aims to become “the benchmark for excellence in the most intelligent mobile experiences to date.”
Here’s what you should expect from Samsung’s Galaxy S24 launch event this Wednesday.
According to Samsung’s website, the Galaxy S24 will be the “first Galaxy smartphone with artificial intelligence.”
“Artificial intelligence will enable new mobile experiences, with premium innovations that will transform the way we live, connect and create,” the company said in a statement ahead of the Unpacked event.
During CES 2024, Samsung announced its bets on artificial intelligence, which include the ability to read or summarize text messages via Microsoft’s generated AI assistant, as well as background blur and automatic framing options for cameras.
At the Las Vegas event, Samsung also previewed its new Multi Control system, which enables users to move between Galaxy smartphones and tablets via mouse or keyboard; Second Screen, which allows you to move between Galaxy smartphones and tablets Extend or duplicate your PC’s screen.
Real-time call translation
In November 2023, Samsung announced the launch of AI Live Translate Call, a feature that will be integrated into Galaxy devices in “early 2024.” According to the company, AI Live Translate Call is able to perform audio and text translation in real time.
