The premieres of series and films on streaming platforms take place almost every day. It will be no different this coming weekend. Therefore, we suggest what will be watched on July 30 – August 1 on Netflix, HBO GO and Amazon Prime Video.

It is true that cinemas are already open, but we still spend most of our time online trying to choose one of the rich libraries of streaming platforms available in Poland. If you do not like to sit for hours looking for productions to watch, we will try to help you choose 5 titles worth seeing that have just appeared or will appear on Netflix, HBO GO and Amazon Prime Video. The list below is for the weekend from July 30 to August 1, 2021. Let’s get started!

The Last Mercenary – Netflix

  1. What’s that: Jean-Claude Van Damme’s great return to French action cinema
  2. Since when available on the platform: from July 30
  3. Release year: 2021

Jean-Claude Van Damme starred in action movies less and less, giving back the baton a bit younger, perhaps even more charismatic. Mio, however, will see him back in a purebred and non-Hollywood sensational. The last mercenary because it comes to us straight from France, but the budget shortcomings are hardly visible. If you missed Van Damme kicking the butt of guys bigger than him, you surely won’t be disappointed.

Sniper (American Sniper) HBO GO

  1. What’s that: Clint Eastwood’s drama about an outstanding soldier struggling with his own demons
  2. Since when available on the platform: from August 1
  3. Release year: 2014

Clint Eastwood is alive with the legend of cinematography not only because of his impeccable acting talent. This artist is also great as a director. Even today, he makes films regularly, and these enjoy universal recognition. One of the greatest hits relatively recent he has authored is by far Sniperthat is, an apparently simple story about the life of a soldier who completely obeyed military service. However, as it happens in this type of work, the drama of the individual slowly comes to the fore. And this one hits. A lot.

Outer Banks season 2 – Netflix

  1. What’s that: amicy genre patterns of teenage drama with a twist of adventure
  2. Since when available on the platform: from July 30
  3. Release year: 2021

Outer Banks it is really a specific creature. On the one hand, there is a lot of light, holiday teenage drama in it, and on the other, the less obvious one, the series surprises with some plugins, making the day an adventure in some places. All because of the intriguing concept of setting the action on an island temporarily deprived of electricity. It may sound a bit of an excuse, but hey, the production is really good friends, so it was decided to shoot season number 2.

Pogo za mioci (The Pursuit of Love) Amazon Prime Video

  1. What’s that: love about love in the framework of love
  2. Since when available on the platform: from July 30
  3. Release year: 2021

Movies and series that tell directly about love may seem like a somewhat overrated idea today, but if the creators approach the presentation of the mentioned theme in an original way, they can count on less or greater success. So what would you say to a stylistically tasteful, yet very dynamic and wildly content-wise British comedy drama starring Lily James and Emily Beecham in the dazzling roles? Sure you will. Then be sure to fire up Pogo for love.

Transformers: War for Cybertron: Kingdom – Netflix

  1. What’s that: new animation in the universe Transformers
  2. Since when available on the platform: from July 29
  3. Release year: 2021

Mao Wam lately Transformerw? No wonder, because it’s been almost 3 years since the premiere of the last film in the series, i.e. the enthusiastically received Bumblebee. Now we are waiting patiently for new projects belonging to the universe, including a film referring to the classic Beast Wars. However, if you want to fill this void with something and watch these characteristic robots in action, you will find them on a small screen. Netflix has prepared an animation with a neat title Transformers: War For Cybertron: The Kingdom and this one, at least on paper, has everything you should expect from this kind of production, that is tons of action, well-known and liked characters, epic fiction and even more action.
