Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks, announced that he will sue the CIA and the former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo. The accusation made against American intelligence by the lawyers of the Wikileaks founder is of having recorded their conversations and copied the contents of their phones and PCs. The lawyers and two journalists – all American nationals – who joined the lawsuit, say the CIA violated their constitutional right to the protection of private conversationshaving intercepted communications with Assangewho is Australian.
According to the lawyers, the intelligence agency would have worked with a company hired by the embassy of theEcuador in London, where Julian Assange had found refuge. The agents’ goal was to spy on the founder of Wikileaks, his defenders, the reporters and anyone who came into contact with him and visited him. The threat of extradition from Great Britain to the United States still hangs on his head where he is accused of having published in 2010 cable classified diplomatsin particular on the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.
