Willem Dafoe collaborates for the third time with director Robert Eggers in Nosferatu, a reinterpretation of the myth of Dracula starring Lily-Rose Depp and Bill Skarsgard.
Willem Dafoe will return to cooperation for the third time with the director Robert Eggers. The occasion is gothic horror Nosferatubased – very loosely – on Friedrich Murnau’s masterpiece Noseferatu the Vampireitself an adaptation of the novel Dracula by Bram Stoker.

Willem Dafoe will join the project – which is currently filming – in a currently unknown role. In this new version, the story will revolve around the theme of obsession. A young womanwho lives in 19th century Germany, is indeed tormented by an ancient vampire of Transylvania, Nosferatu, who persecutes and follows her everywhere, bringing with him an unspeakable horror.
