A new flaw in Windows was found by a security specialist named Abdelhamid Naceri. He will find in the windows of the new weakness that he allows gaining administrator privileges in a regular user account. By the way, the method of attack was shown.

Bleeping Computer’s editors tested an exploit on Windows 10 21H1 (version number 19043.1348) and the vulnerability actually allowed for launching the command prompt on system rights from a standard user account. Below is a video showing the method in action.

Problem applies to Windows 11, 10 and server window edits. Also in the latest versions with current security patches. Microsoft will close the gap soon, but we will probably wait for the patch until the next Patch Tuesday, which is only on December 14.
