The next edition of Windows 11 went to testers in the Insider program. This time it’s about build 22533 shared on the Dev channel, in which there are some significant changes. Among them, a nice little thing for the eye – new indicators on the operation of the equipment.
Windows 11 got in the test version refreshed indicators for volume, brightness, airplane mode, camera, keyboard backlight and privacy. Microsoft shows on the example of volume that they no longer resemble those from Windows 10 not only visually, but also changed position on the screen. They will now be displayed horizontally, just above the taskbar. They are also compatible with the light and dark theme of the system from the very beginning.
However, this is not the only change in this release. In addition, a number of bugs were fixed and some minor fixes were made. Removed, among others the cause of the error 0x8007012a, which could have been encountered while updating drivers, fixed the consequence of the Wi-Fi indicator on the taskbar, and fixed the problem with Explorer freezing when using multiple monitors.
You can read about everything that’s new in this release of Windows 11 on the Windows Blog. Microsoft is of course aware that this release also has other bugs that it explains in the entry. In the context of updating Windows 11, it is worth remembering that January’s Patch Tuesday is behind us, so it is worth checking Windows Update and ensuring that the latest security patches are installed.
