Caroline Wozniacki, 33, revealed she spoke to Serena Williams and Kim Clijsters before deciding to return to professional tennis., Williams, a 23-time Grand Slam champion, took a maternity break after winning the Australian Open in 2017 and managed to return to the top in 2018. Clijsters, a former four-time Grand Slam champion, first retired from professional tennis in 2007. Made a comeback in 2009 and won the 2009 US Open in his third tournament.
Wozniacki, the 2018 Australian Open champion, has had two children in the past two years and is now set to play for the first time since the 2020 Australian Open.

Wozniacki plays against Kimberly Birrell
