Written from the heart, in the Campobasso prison a prize for the most beautiful love letters

The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 14 December in the prison of the capital award ceremony of the national competition which involved prisons throughout Italy

The final stage of the sixth edition from Written from the heart, the National Writing Competition addressed to inmates of prisons throughout the countrypromoted and organized by Municipality of Campobasso and fromUnion of Italian Readers with the Artistic direction from Brunella Santoli and with the collaboration of Direction of the prison of Campobasso in the context of I’ll tell you a book permanent workshop on reading and storytelling 2022.

A way to keep the dialogue open with the outside world, with which communication is not always easy, especially when it comes to feelings. Among the few competitions designed specifically to bring writing to prisonsWritten from the heartin its final phase and for the announcement of the winners, has chosen to return precisely “inside the prison” where writing becomes an important tool for indirect contact with the outside world, a trusted vehicle for a reflection on oneself and on the ” objects” of love.
