Wronged Us is intriguing. Survival horror game inspired by Dark Souls, Silent Hill and Resident Evil

Many exciting games will debut on the market in the following years, however, Wronged Us may be of interest to fans of smaller, scary stories. Delusional Studio does not yet share too many details about its newest release, although the material that has been released is well received.

During this year’s Golden Joystick Awards, the results of which we presented in the morning, the first promising material showing the game Delusional Studio was presented. Wronged Us is an open-world survival horror aimed at consoles and personal computers. This solo project has been in development for over a year and a half, but is still in a very early stage of production. Currently, a search is underway for developers who will implement the vision of the main developer.

The action of the production takes place in a small town, and the player’s task will be to traverse deserted streets. By solving puzzles and fighting monsters, the main character will “face a psychological horror”. During the game, we will gain access to various parts of the city, and NPCs will stand in our way.

Wronged Us draws handfuls from the open world of Dark Souls, quest design, NPCs, history, setting and atmosphere of Silent Hill, as well as gameplay and mechanics that we know well from the Resident Evil series. The mix seems quite interesting, but remember that it’s a smaller title, perfect for indie fans. The game will probably debut in 2023.
