You have it in the car but you don’t know what it is for: from today your driving life will change

Getting to know your car better is essential. It allows you to move around the city in the best possible way, avoid accidents and minimize stress. That’s why it’s important to have the functions of each part of your vehicle in mind. For example, in almost every car there is a function that is little known, and used, by most.

When driving it is good to have a clear picture of everything that is happening on the road. Whether it’s in front, behind or on the sides of the car, it’s good to have your eyes on everything. Luckily in the cars there is a function that allows you to minimize the blind spots.

Necessary to have the right control of the road are the side mirrors and the rear view mirror of the car. These are convex mirrors, able to provide a wider field of view to those who are driving.

Convex mirrors are often used by cars. They are in fact able to give a broad picture of what is happening on the street. This is due to their shape, curved outwards, capable of capturing more details. It is therefore not surprising that this particularly efficient type of mirror is the one of choice for cars.

The rear-view mirror also follows the same principle. It is therefore able to allow the driver to see behind his vehicle, monitor traffic and possibly identify dangerous situations. It is therefore good to know that this mirror is maneuverable, ensuring a more accurate view of the road.

This is how the rearview mirror works

Many do not know that the rear-view mirror can be comfortably maneuvered through a small lever, located just below the mirror. This is not a small trick, as it allows you to expand the visual space with a simple movement.

The cars are in fact designed to allow anyone who is driving to have everything they need to drive under control. For this reason the mirror is equipped with a small lever to maneuver it better. With the right hand it is in fact possible to move it, guaranteeing a better view.

It is also a small precaution to use at night. In the dark it is possible that the headlights of another car will bounce off the mirror. This causes an annoying glow, which can obviously be simply by turning the lever. This changes the angle and the mirrored surface will reflect the headlights towards each other. A move of a few seconds, able to remove the glare from the eyes.
