Martin Doležal joined Zagłębie Lubin. The 31-year-old striker signed with him a contract valid until June 30, 2024.
The Czech attacker, who has so far only played at home, moved to Zagłębie from FK Jablonec. He has represented his colors since 2014. During this time, the player, measuring 189 centimeters tall, scored 85 goals and recorded 25 assists in 274 games. In the current season, he scored two goals in the Czech league.
Previously, the six-time representative of the Czech Republic was associated with Sigma Olomouc, who also loaned him to Fotbal Trzyniec and Zbrojovka Brno.
– We were looking for a player in the winter window who would score and Martin was our transfer priority. I am glad that this transfer has been successfully completed. The statistics, experience and career so far indicate that he can help us significantly in the attack line and he will score goals – said Piotr Burlikowski, director of the sports division of Zagłębie.
This is the third winter transfer of “Copper”. Previously, their ranks were joined by Jasmin Burić (free transfer) and Aleks Ławniczak (Warta Poznań). This is certainly not the end.
Aleksandar Pantić says goodbye to Zagłębie. The contract of the 29-year-old center-back was terminated by mutual agreement.
