The movie, lasting a few seconds and starring the various characters of The Umbrella Academyespecially reveals the release date of the third season of the serial, which will be available on the on-demand streaming giant starting next June 22nd.
The Umbrella Academy 3we recall, is based on the comics written by the singer Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Ba. The new season will introduce members of the Sparrow Academy which will be interpreted by Justin Cornwell (Number One/Marcus), Britne Oldford (Number Three/Fei), Jake Epstein (Number Four/Alphonso), Genesis Rodriguez(Number Five/Sloane) e Shit David (Number Six/Jayme).
As anticipated by the actress Emmy Raver-Lampmanthe third season will focus on the heated and epic rivalry between the two teams: “I think the members of the Umbrella Academy have never really been in a situation like this before. They struggle and have their moments, but it’s always exciting and you never know if they’ll make it back to the top. But then they always do, but I don’t think they’ve ever faced something like this, a situation where they stare at a different version of themselves. I’m excited for everyone to see what happens.”
For those unfamiliar with the series, the synopsis of the first season read:
On October 1, 1989, 43 women around the world gave birth at the same time, despite none of them showing any signs of pregnancy until labor began. Seven of these children are adopted by the eccentric billionaire Reginald Hargreeves, who trains them through what he calls “The Umbrella Academy”, thus forming a team of superheroes. Seventeen years later, the brothers reunite on the occasion of their father’s death and discover they have eight days to save the world from the apocalypse.
