Method

The recipe is very simple and here’s how to prepare it in 8 simple steps.

1. To prepare the sauce tzaztiki the first step is to peel the cucumber, cut off the ends and
keep them aside, then remove the peel and then pass one end along the whole cucumber.
This is a small one trick to remove that slight bitter aftertaste that sometimes have
cucumbers.
2. After that grated the cucumber in a bowl, or use the potato peeler and make strips
very thin which you will then cut into smaller pieces. Leaving the cucumber in larger chunks will make your Tzaztiki sauce even tastier.
3. Squeeze well cut cucumber ed eliminated all the excess water.
4. Meanwhile put Greek yoghurt in a larger bowl add the cucumber
well squeezed, then the lime juice and the chopped mint to give even more freshness to the Tzatziki
5. Taste it everything and season with salt and pepper, then go on to clean the garlic
6. Peel a clove of garlic and cut it in half, remove the core from inside, it is similar to a
sprout and removing it will help you digest the garlic better and give it a less strong flavour
7. Chop garlic finely and add it to your sauce, mix everything together and let it sit in
fridge for at least 20 minutes so your sauce will be very fresh!
8. Now you just have to to cut into strips of vegetables and dip them in your tzaztiki, it’s excellent
also as an accompaniment for meat or for excellent bruschetta!
