The Australian celebrity named her 2020 “Year of Health” after focusing on exercise and healthy eating
The actress Rebel Wilson shared on social networks a series of posts in which she appears with a pink dress after reaching her goal of 30 kg lost. The 40-year-old Australian celebrity shared on Instagram a photo in which she poses with the pink look and then published a video in which she appears parading behind the scenes of the rehearsal until she reaches the studio in which the photo was taken.
In the photo, she poses against a pink piano and, in the video, she celebrates the rehearsal, raising her arms while talking to an unidentified person.
The star of ‘Cats’ (2019) and the films in the ‘Perfect Choice’ series used her Instagram account throughout 2020 to record the various stages of what she called the ‘Year of Health’. She revealed at the beginning of last year that her ultimate goal was to reach 75 kg, which she achieved in the last months of 2020.
She recently did life on Instagram sharing with fans the lessons she learned throughout the year, and some of her future plans. She said she was eating “very bad” foods and “struggling to be healthy” before learning that “a high protein diet was the way to go” to get what she wanted.
“My body responds well to protein,” she said, explaining that her preference now is for salmon, chicken breast, and protein shakes. “Nutritionally, the only thing is that I try to stay below 1,500 calories because of my body type. If I want to lose weight that week, I kind of has to stay below 1,500 [calories] a day.”
Now that she has reached her goal, the Australian actress said “she will eat more and enter a maintenance phase”: “It will probably be about 2,000 to 2,500 [calories] because I train like a beast, so I need a little more now that I’ve reached my weight goal and stick to it “.
