AMC extension released the teaser trailer of Tales of the Walking Deadthe anthology series inspired by the famous television franchise based on the comics of Robert Kirkman.
Few sequences, but each dedicated to the various characters (known and unpublished from the saga) who will alternate in the six episodes elaborated by Channing Powell, here called to act as showrunner. The episodes have been filming since January in Atlanta. We also recall that Samantha Morton will be in Tales of the Walking Dead after interpreting the villain Alpha in the original series The Walking Deadpresumably explaining its genesis.
Among the directors confirmed behind the camera of the six episodes of the series stand out the names of Haifaa al-Mansour (Good Lord Bird), Deborah Kampmeier (Star Trek: Picard), Tara Nicole Weyr (The Wilds) e Michael Satrazemis (The Walking Dead, Fear the Walking Dead). Channing Powell (The Walking Dead) will serve as showrunner. As described by the announcement, now dated almost a year, Tales of the Walking Dead will tell the story of old and new characters committed to surviving in the same narrative universe of The Walking Dead.
In the currently confirmed cast are present Olivia Munn, Danny Ramirez, Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, Jessie T. Usher, Terry Crews, Anthony Edwards, Parker Posey, Poppy Liu, Jillian Belland precisely Samantha Morton, Lauren Glazier and Matt Medrano.
