Tony Award winner Andrew Burnap was offered a role in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The actor will play alongside Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot.

Actor Andrew Burnap will star in the latest adaptation of the iconic Disney film from 1938 – “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He will also be starring Rachel Zegler in the lead role of Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen. For now, it is only known that Burnap will play the male lead role, “which was specially written for the film,” and he will also sing – hence the choice of a Broadway actor. The director will be Marc Webb, and will be produced by an Oscar-nominated filmmaker Marc Platt. The premiere of the new adaptation of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” is planned for spring this year.

Andrew Burnap is known primarily for his work in the theater. Last year left winner of the Tony Award for his role as Toby Darling in the theatrical play entitled “Heritage” Matthew Lopez directed by Stephen Daldry. Burnap also took part in, inter alia, “This Day Forward”, “The Legend of Georgie McBride” and “Troilus and Cressida”. We’ll be able to see him soon in the latest Hulu series – “Under the Banner of Heaven” and in Apple production – “WeCrashed” alongside Jared Leto and Anne Hathaway.
