A Simple Favor received a great response from the public and success also for the critics so that it earned 97.6 million dollars at the box office against a production budget of 20 million. And now Lionsgate and Amazon Studios announced the arrival of a second part, precisely because the first chapter ended with an open ending. We will meet again Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick who will always play their respective roles, while the continuation will be by the author Jessica Sharker and will be directed by again Paul Feig. Needless to say, it is eagerly awaited by viewers and the same Lively he is so happy with this comeback that he wanted to share it with his fans on social networks. At the moment we still don’t know when filming will begin, however, according to what Deadline says, they should start shortly and this leads us to deduce that, at the beginning of 2023 at the latest, it will arrive on the big screens.
