According to the news website, Bakalland’s shareholders signed a preliminary share sale agreement on November 23, 2021. The agreement provides for the sale of a stake of approximately 90 percent. shares by current shareholders, including Innova Phoenix Sarl.

The latter invested in a popular dried fruit and nuts producer in 2014, when it acquired 60 percent. shares for PLN 100 million. After the completion of the transaction, which is planned for the beginning of 2022, the shareholders of Bakalland SA will be Uno Capital Mariana Owerko and O&R Holding, i.e. an entity controlled by Rafał Brzoska – the website says.

At that time, the plans and strategy for the future are to be made public. For now, it is not known how much this transaction cost the new owners. The Office of Competition and Consumer Protection also has to approve the acquisition of shares.
Rafał Brzoska is looking for new investments
Rafał Brzoska is well known in Poland as the creator of InPost parcel lockers. The investment in Bakalland is not the only new step he has taken recently. As we wrote in October, he bought shares in eObuwie not so long ago, and now wants to own half of the shares in Medicalgorithmics. The mere announcement of a potential transaction caused euphoria on the stock exchange.
Bakalland, on the other hand, is a popular Polish producer of dried fruits, bars, snacks and cakes. This company also includes, among others Delecta and Anatol brand. The company has plants in Janów Podlaski and Włocławek.
