Biker boots are back as protagonists for winter 2022

Biker boots have already won the hearts of supermodels and are now ready to return for Fall Winter 2022 2023

We will say goodbye to amphibians to leave room for biker boots, mostly in black leather, without laces and equipped with metal buckles, but above all soft on the calves (therefore ideal for riding on the bike or moving freely in the urban streets). Fashion retraces its steps by rediscovering a model of boots that in the last decade has known oblivion. Among the fashion trends for autumn / winter 2022 2023 is perhaps the most unexpected and follows closely the leather suits, protective padding, sports jackets with rivets and the helmet worn as an accessory.

Miu Miu boots

Miuccia Prada declines the iconic smooth leather biker boots offering black, brown and blue models. The boots are soft at the calf to tuck into pants or show off wool socks, thus offering an interpretation of the multi layered look. Among the winter shoes spotted on the catwalk it is certainly the item that best lends itself to the versatility of combination: they are the extension of the shaded leather pants but they are also worn with the very light skirts that show the underlying lingerie. The harmonious biker dialogue continues with the proposed mini or maxi biker jacket.

Acne Studios’ cuissardes version biker boots

Exaggerated and dramatic are the Acne Studios boots that aim to cover the legs, dressing with their majestic length and softness. The styling is played on volumes: the cuissardes biker boots are combined with the oversized jacket. Here is the most contemporary interpretation of the biker style, ideal in the urban context.

The cult boots of the 90s and 2000s

There is a shot by Peter Lindbergh who portrayed in September 1991 on Vogue America with the top models of the time (Cindy Crawford, Tatjana Patitz, Helena Christensen, Linda Evangelista, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Karen Mulder and Stephanie Seymour), all dressed in biker culture and style. The service, entitled Wild at heart is set in Brooklyn and the 90s models wear garments designed by Grace Coddington with a mix of Chanel and Schott (the company that created the first nail!). A production that has never before returned to the present day, chasing the Bikercore: black smooth leather jacket, very tight jeans, hat reminiscent of that of Marlon Brando in The servitude and a pair of biker boots, are all indelible elements that today give us back the 90s glamor intertwined with the world of motorcyclists.
