Because of the pandemic Coronavirus and the consequent closure of the cinema in various countries of the world, the Marvel Studios have been forced to postpone all of the outputs of the MCU, starting from Black Widow.
The highly anticipated film with Scarlett Johanssonoriginally scheduled for April 29, the next in Italy and may 1 in the USA, will arrive now in November, and the new launch date will be an unpleasant, negative record: the gap between Avengers: Endgame and Black Widow it will be the longest between two films in the MCU in more than a decade; a number Spider-Man: Far From Home, technically a production Sonythe gap is, however, by 16 months, which rises even 19 months by starting the count from the movie of the brothers Russo.
As fans are better trained in the MCU will remember, in 2008 Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk are released within a month of one another, respectively in may and June. Then, the fans have waited nearly two years before the release of Iron Man 2, arrived in may 2010 (April 2010 in Italy). This is because at the time the great design Marvel was still in the drafting phase of and the characters you introduce are still very few, and in fact, in 2011 will come out only Thor and Captain America: The First Avengerbefore the completion of Phase 1 in may 2012 with The Avengers,, the only film of that year.
By 2013, however, the study published always at least two films in a calendar year in Phase 2lifted up and then the ball in 2017 with a the three titles in the space of twelve months until the completion of Phase 3 with Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home in the past year.
Between the end of Phase 3 and the beginning of Stage 4 will spend a record time, which, however, could be solved with a welcome surprise for Kevin Feige and Scarlett Johansson: the fans will be more hungry and the hype will be the same, which could turn Black Widow in one of the commercial successes the most important of the study.
