Chris Brown defends himself after photos with fans at Meet & Greet go viral on the internet

Chris Brown used his social media to defend himself after some photos taken with fans during his Meet & Greet went viral on the internet. The images show the star making several poses, some considered too intimate, which generated a certain controversy among netizens.

In his Instagram stories, the singer countered the criticism, valuing close contact with the public and stating that he “does anything” for his fans.

“When artists (all) do shows they have something called a VIP package. I haven’t done ‘Meet and Greets’ in 7 years… I have the coolest fans on the planet… I value them so much,” he wrote.

“These are memories that will last forever with them. Unlike most of these idiot artists, who don’t even make eye contact with the people who made it possible for them to have a career. I only exist because these fans saw something in me that they never did.” I thought it was possible… So, I’ll do everything for my fans!”, he added.

Chris Brown is currently on tour in the US, with shows until August 27, according to his official website. See the musician’s statement below:
