Consip spa, the purchasing center of the Italian public administration, today signed the contract relating to lot 1 of the tender for “remote security services”, with the successful bidders Accenture and Tim. The same reports it Consip with a press release.
The initiative will make available services of cybersecurity for the management of IT security and the protection of administrative data, in accordance with the indications of Three-year IT Plan in the PAand as a function ofl the implementation of PNRR projects (Mission 1 “Digitization” – Component 1 “Digitization, innovation and security in the PA”).
With the activation of the contract – scheduled for the month of September 2022 – PAs will be able to acquire a wide range of services provided by suppliers in “remote” mode: Security Operation Center, Next Generation Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Identity and user access management, Remote digital signature, stamping, time stamp and electronic seal, Continuous management of security vulnerabilities, Threat Intelligence Data Feed / Vulnerability Data Feed, Internet and email protection, End point protection, SSL certificatesTraining and security awareness, Specialized services.
Tim was awarded 40% of lot 1 as agent of a grouping of companies with Almaviva, Netgroup, Kpmg And Reevo. The services provided by Tim Enterprisethe business unit led by Elio Schiavomake use of the specialized skills of the Group companies and include advanced cybersecurity solutions (such as Security Operation Center, firewall, e-mail protection and secure navigation) and services for digital certification to guarantee the authenticity and confidentiality of communications (for example, the digital signature).
The details of the contract
The contract for lot 1, worth 468 mln / €will have a duration of 24 months and provides for the allocation of quotas to different awarded suppliers based on their placement in the final merit ranking. PAs will be able to stipulate executive contracts – up to a maximum duration of 48 months – with the suppliers identified, without reopening the competition. The Consip framework agreement for “Remote security services” is completed by the contract relating to lot 2, with a value of 117 mln / €, already active since last May, which provides “compliance and control“, Aimed at identifying the security status of the information system, defining the cyber security strategy, identifying security needs.
