The Bearthe series that brought the beloved star of Shameless Jeremy Allen Whitewill arrive in Italy on Disney + on October 5th. The streaming service announces it, adding that the eight episodes of the first season of the dramedy will all be immediately available.
The Bear: What the new TV series tells
Created by Christopher Storer (Ramy), The Bear it speaks of food, of family, of the madness of routine, of the beauty of the sense of urgency and of steep and slippery inconveniences. The story centers on Carmen ‘Carmy’ Berzatto (White), a young chef from the restaurant business, who returns home to Chicago to run the family sandwich shop, “The Original Beef of Chicagoland”, after a heartbreaking death. In a world far from the one he was used to, Carmy must face the harsh realities of running a small business, his stubborn and reluctant kitchen staff, as well as his strained family relationships, all while dealing with the aftermath of his brother’s suicide. As he struggles to transform both “The Original Beef of Chicagoland” and himself, Carmy works alongside a slightly over the top team that ultimately turns out to be the family he has chosen.
