The project will be based on a bestseller Pauli Hawkins and tells the story of Rachel, a divorced alcoholic who rides the same train every day, passing houses in the suburbs. He focuses his attention every day on one of these houses, watching through the window the same couple eating breakfast on the terrace. From Rachel’s perspective, the lives of Jess and Jason – that’s what she calls them – are perfect, unlike what she had had until recently. One day, Rachel witnesses a scene so shocking that she decides to tell the police what she saw. However, she soon begins to wonder if she really was a wise decision.
The book was released in the US in January and has since sold over two million copies. It was also a best seller in Great Britain. No wonder that DreamWorks producers decided to bring it to the big screen. She is a candidate for the main role Emily Blunt. The actress recently agreed to participate in a movie “The Huntsman”in which he will perform alongside Jessica Chastain and Charlize Theron.
