During the heist, Brian and Mia find Dom, but they realize that there is something underneath and that they are about to get stuck. A shooting ensues and Dom and Brian, on the run, fall off a bridge into the water and are captured by former friends, who are in business with Hernan Reyes, the most influential criminal in Rio de Janeiro. The two meet Reyes who tries to find out where Mia and the stolen car are, but to no avail. Also Dom and Brian manage to free themselves and go to the place where the girl hid the Ford GT40. Meanwhile, the FBI also organizes a team, led by agent Luke Hobbs, to frame Dom and her. Hobbs, having arrived in Rio, hires the policewoman Elena Neves as an interpreter. How will it end?
