Fast & Furious 5 will go broadcast today, Monday 9 May, on Italia 1 at 21.20. This is the fifth installment of the Fast & Furious series and follows the movie Fast & Furious – Original Parts Only. Fast Five was shot in 2011 by Justin Lin, a Taiwanese director, producer and screenwriter. The director is known for directing five films in the Fast & Furious saga, namely. The subject of the film is by Gary Scott Thompson (for the characters); the script by Chris Morgan; the producers are Neal H. Moritz, Vin Diesel and Michael Fottrell; photography is by Stephen F. Windon; the special effects of R. Bruce Steinheimer and Michael J. Wassel; music by Brian Tyler and set design by Peter Wenham, Thomas Valentine, Bob Kensinger. In the cast we obviously find Vin Diesel along with the unforgettable Paul Walker, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Elsa Pataky and many more.

Fast & Furious 5, the plot: how Dominic Toretto escaped from prison

In Fast & Furious 5 Dominic Toretto escapes from prison thanks to Brian, Mia, Leo and Santos. Brian and Mia go to Rio de Janeiro to see Vince, Dominic’s best friend, who offers the two a deal: stealing luxury cars from a train. During the heist, Brian and Mia find Dom, but they realize that there is something underneath and that they are about to get stuck. A shooting ensues and Dom and Brian, on the run, fall off a bridge into the water and are captured by former friends, who are in business with Hernan Reyes, the most influential criminal in Rio de Janeiro. The two meet Reyes who tries to find out where Mia and the stolen car are, but to no avail. Also Dom and Brian manage to free themselves and go to the place where the girl hid the Ford GT40. Meanwhile, the FBI also organizes a team, led by agent Luke Hobbs, to frame Dom and her. Hobbs, having arrived in Rio, hires the policewoman Elena Neves as an interpreter. How will it end?
