FIFA has decided to maintain suspensions from the group stage matches for the World Cup.
This means that Mateusz Klich will not be able to play against Russia. In the team of our rivals, two basic players will not be able to play: AS Monaco midfielder – Aleksandr Golovin and Lokomowit Moskwa striker – Fyodor Smołow. 25-year-old Golovin played 45 times in the Russian team. He scored five goals and had thirteen assists.
However, six years older than him, Fyodor Smołow scored two goals and had four assists in the qualifying rounds for the World Cup in Qatar. In total, his balance sheet for the Russian team is: 45 appearances, 16 goals and four assists. In the Russian league for Lokomotiv, Moscow scored seven goals and is fifth among the most effective players in the tournament.

FIFA, however, made another important decision. She canceled the cards for players who were not yet disqualified. This is very good news for Poles. Nine players were at risk in the Polish team: Kamil Glik, Bartosz Bereszyński, Matthew Cash, Michał Helik, Tomasz Kędziora, Arkadiusz Milik, Tymoteusz Puchacz, Damian Szymański and Karol Świderski.
