Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade has recently arrived on PS5, shining a new light on the good that has already been seen on PS4.
Fans of the seventh episode, and of the recent remake, are waiting for a second part of the remake, and now new information is coming directly from Square Enix.
The next-gen version of the adventure by Cloud Strife and associates has been able to solve an obvious problem, shown by the game since its launch (and which many have pointed out).
The Japanese software house has not left out any details for this new release, adding another final place at the end of the Integrate DLC.
During an email exchange with IGN, Motomu Toriyama and Naoki Hamaguchi, co-director of the title, talked about what the second part of the remake will be able to show us (without going too far).
Production is proceeding smoothly, but the developers have warned fans that ” it will probably take some more time before Wutai is shown ” (via IGN.com ).
” The first part of Final Fantasy VII Remake made gamers feel at the center of a movie, but in the next release we will take real steps forward, ” said Naoki Hamaguchi.
The two insiders added that « the next release will see Cloud and his companions leave Midgar and explore the world. What we want to do is create gameplay that can exploit the vastness of the map, unlike what we did in the current title ».
Tetsuya Nomura, director of the game, had already explained that the successor of Final Fantasy VII Remake will start exactly after Intergrade and that it will have a ” very different ” atmosphere compared to what has been seen so far.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Part II doesn’t have a release date yet, and Square Enix is taking the time to do justice to one of the most beloved chapters in the entire saga.
In recent weeks, some clues have arrived on a possible landing on PC (not to be completely excluded given Sony’s recent strategy), but the news is still unconfirmed.
If the remaster of the title has disappointed you (for whatever reason) you can make up for it thanks to the one created by a fan, which brought every cutscene of the game to 1080p and 30fps.
While playing the remake you will have noticed that an iconic sequence has undergone a series of changes: if you have appreciated them, you will be pleased to know that they will also be considered for the next episodes.
