First Time Cloning of Adult Cells to Create Embryonic Stem Cells

This is an advance for regenerative medicine and the treatment of incurable pathologies. US scientists for the first time succeeded in cloning human adult cells to create embryonic stem cells whose DNA corresponds to the donor, an advance for regenerative medicine and the treatment of incurable pathologies.

In the framework of this study, the researchers used the technique developed by Dr. Shoukhrat Mitalipov, the first to create human embryonic stem cells from skin cells in 2013. But in these cloning trials DNA from an eight-month-old baby was used.

These days, mobile phones have kept everyone in their possession. People like to live in the world of social media by forgetting their real life or current life. Although we are unaware that this habit is making us sick. Along with mental problems such as stress and anxiety, this habit is making us sick physically.

Many people complain of pain in the waist and neck while chatting with someone while using the phone. If you are one of them then you should leave this habit. You can also relax with these tips.

The new technique published in the American magazine Cell Stem Celle was carried out by the Advance Cell Technology and financed in part by the government of South Korea. The team led by Dr. Robert Lanza used the nucleus of skin cells from two men who inserted two oocytes that generated primitive embryos. The DNA was extracted from these embryos.

“Until now, we have not been able to clone adult cells to create embryonic stem cells,” say authors whose system has the advantage of not using fertilized embryos, a technique that generates ethical dilemmas or strong oppositions in the church.

The scientific community has placed its hopes in therapeutic cloning that could replace organs damaged by cancer, blindness or Alzheimer’s disease.
