Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have not had a very good relationship with the family since they decided to live on the other side of the ocean and relinquish their responsibilities as royalty. Moreover, a few months ago they took part in a controversial interview with Oprah Winfrey, in which they revealed the truth about their treatment. Now it turns out that they want to repair broken relationships a bit. Before doing so, however, they make a condition.
Meghan Markle gave birth to a second child a few months ago, a daughter, Lilibet Diana. According to the tradition of the British royal family, the girl should be baptized in Great Britain. Meghan and her husband decided to agree to such a proposal, but they set conditions. The “the Sun” portal reports that they demand that Queen Elizabeth II be present at the baptism.
Recall that during the baptism of Archie’s elder son, the 95-year-old queen was absent. This apparently displeased Meghan, who admitted that if the queen did not agree, the baptism of her younger daughter would take place in the United States. It is worth adding that the British royal family has never seen Lilibet Diana.
What does the queen say? The portal says that the monarch is in no rush to answer. Moreover, she begins to wonder if she will invite Harry and Meghan to Christmas.
