here’s where it runs best –

Deathloop is available from yesterday also on Xbox Series X | Sexactly one year after the game’s debut su PS5and IGN made a comparison between the two versions of the game to understand where it runs best.

As we wrote in the review of Deathloop for Xbox Series X, the perception is of two fundamentally identical editions, also equipped with the same four graphics modesand the video above confirms it.

The ray traced mode in some situations performs better on PlayStation 5, but let’s talk about small details. Otherwise, 30 fps is solid on both Sony and Microsoft consoles, as is 60 fps in performance mode.

We thought that quality mode, which uses an unlocked frame rate, could benefit Xbox Series X, but it doesn’t – there are times when one platform outperforms the other, but ultimately the situation balances and the general result becomes practically identical.

If, on the other hand, you have a screen that supports 120 Hz and is equipped with VRR, this is where you will see the difference, since Xbox Series X almost always performs better in this case and beats PS5 by even 20 frames per second, giving us a very close to target experience.
