“I was signed on June 24th [2020]. Two days later, I received a text from Sarah Finn [direttrice di casting dei Marvel Studios] telling me ‘Brie [Larson] wants to meet you.’ My reaction was ‘What??’. The next day, we had a video call on Zoom. It was very nice that he followed me all the way. I made sure to use her advice as much as possible, as she was so helpful to me.”

There’s a sense of loneliness when you’re the only superhero on set. [Brie Larson] went through the same thing with Captain Marvel. I was the only person in a superhero suit, which is kind of scary. Everyone will be looking at you while you are wearing that shiny suit made of Spandex. It’s a little intimidating and you feel insecure. You’re wearing a fancy costume and doing all these bizarre hand gestures. Brie told me she went through the same thing. So I said ‘Great. I’m not alone!’ And she said ‘It’s normal, and you’re going to have a lot of body aches!‘”
