Jennifer Aniston could return home again with an Emmy Award after the episode of the episode of Friends: The Reunion, which was enthusiastically received by viewers. But he will not come back, because he is not going to the awards gala due to the pandemic.

Aniston announced her decision in the program “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. She explained that she would not go to the Emmy gala because she was afraid of the so-called Coronavirus Delta variant. Earlier in an interview with “In Style” she said that she avoids contact with unvaccinated people and those who refuse to answer the question of whether they got vaccinated. Now on Kimmel’s show, she admitted she is concerned about safety as more and more people become infected with the Delta variant. She also announced that if during the next gala of presenting prestigious awards, known as “TV Oscars”, she would receive a statuette, the director Ben Winston would collect it on her behalf.

Jennifer Aniston added that she spends most of her time at home because of the pandemic. She only leaves to work on the set of the second season of The Morning Show to visit friends Jason Bateman and Courteney Cox or to do an interview.

This year’s Emmy Award gala will be held on September 20 in a tent on the terrace of the LA Live entertainment complex, next to the Microsoft Theater. The number of visitors has been limited to 600. Everyone will need to undergo a body temperature test and provide proof of vaccination and a negative Covid-19 test.

According to scientists from Johns Hopkins University in the USA, 2,585 deaths of Covid-19 have been registered in the past 24 hours. (PAP Life)
