Canceled last year, the Barbórka Rally will once again end the season in Polish motorsport. This time the organizers provided the competitors with a two-day competition, and the program includes seven special stages in total.
The first of them – SZNAJDER Batterien Pruszków – driving along the streets of a town near Warsaw and using a multi-storey car park of one of the shopping malls was won by Kajetan Kajetanowicz and Maciej Szczepaniak. The duo known for their performances in the world championships defeated our second export team: Mikołaj Marczyk and Szymon Gospodarczyk by 8.4 seconds. The three were completed by Wojciech Chuchała and Sebastian Rozwadowski [+9,89 s].
The brothers Jarosław and Marcin Szej lost 2.29 seconds to the podium. Michał Ratajczyk and Jędrzej Szcześniak finished the top five [+13,06 s].
In R2, Jacek Sobczak and Michał Marczewski will spend the night in the leadership position. The advantage of the Porsche crew over Rafał Kręcioch and Marcin Drewniak is 6.8 seconds. Dawid Smółka and Krzysztof Mazur are worse by 10.45 seconds.
Sergiusz Janowski and Krzysztof Grzenia were the best crew in R3 on Friday evening. Tomasz Białkowski and Dariusz Baśkiewicz lost 1.61 s, and Piotr Ilnicki and Oskar Tichanowicz lost 4.22 s.
The leading historians are Krzysztof Głowala and Piotr Mitręga (H1), Wojciech Goździewicz and Joanna Madej-Smolarek (H2) as well as Marcin Wydra and Piotr Sikorski (H3).
